Responsible for maintaining targeted occupancy levels for the Judson Health Center (JHC) by: Coordinating the admission process of residents to JHC through interfacing with Hospitals, Health Care Providers, private inquiries and other areas of Judson. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Maintains JHC census data in an up-to-date status; notifies key personnel of pertinent changes. Assesses proposed admissions for appropriate placement; seeks counsel of Director of Nursing & Administration, Administrator, and Therapy personnel, as needed. Provides facility tours for prospective clients/families. Maintains professional relationships that support the admissions endeavor. Responds to all admission-related inquiries in a timely manner. Assigns primary practitioner to follow care of new admission throughout life cycle of their care. Maintains a thorough, up-to-date knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations as well as the products, services, acuity trends, and other information pertinent to maintaining the admissions process. Verifies insurance eligibility and completes skilled care updates for coverage. Ensures compliance with Judson and regulatory Anti-fraud and Anti-abuse programs. Ensures review and completion of all admission forms. Coordinates facility preparations between room occupants with Environmental Services & Maintenance. Interested candidates please click 'apply'.
